Top o' the mornin' to ya.
A bike for Marc Schmittenberg
of Phoenix, Arizona.
Marc must be a tough nut.
Anybody who's riding a rigid fork in Arizona deserves some respect.
This ain't amateur hour.
Personally, I'm a fan of fat tires, how 'bout you?
Above is a good pic to illustrate the tire clearances.
When building these bikes, a 2.55" tire on a fat rim is used as the standard.
Considering the chain stays start at just shy of 16.5",
that's pretty good, with plenty of room
for just about anything short of fat bike territory.
Marc sent me some shots of some open wheeled racecars
from the 60's to give an idea of what he wanted for paint.
Thanks, Marc.
How about some Minutemen?

Sweetness. Love the open wheel theme.
Always so tasteful. Good looking bike.
Let yourself be heard!
what, no commercial physiology?
Talking about fatbikes can only lead to one thing. Fatbike!
Indy car theme, Indy car fast! This thing is a rocket! Shattered my favorite training ride record on its first outing! Todd knows how to build bikes that rail. Thanks Todd!
thanks again, marc.
I wish you could have delivered this bike in person and visited your newest niece and nephew!
My Black Cat got to meet Marc's Black Cat last weekend at the 24 Hours in the Old Pueblo. As expected, they got along just fine ;)
Great to meet you, Marc -- Sweet bike!
